I have over 170 active mods and don't have this issue with any of my games. I've been forced to go into the steam workshop folder and manually go in and delete the files then inch steam through re-downloading each individual mod.Įven if it was however, that would still require users go through each mod they're subscribed to individually just to update their mod list. having done that, I can say with confidence that isn't what happens. The problem is that mod authors don't update their mods to correlate with the latest version of the game and account for any changes there, so the mods become outdated by virtue of that rather than it being a case of Steam not updating them because that's not the case.
